Founded in 1798 by a surgeon, this café is now run by the 6th generation of his family, the ‘Beense’ family. This café soon became the hang out for all the doctors working in the hospital next door and became a truly legendary place. This beautiful little ‘brown café’ is packed with bottles, decorations, good times, people and fine local genever.
