“Atelier is not a quiet place where you come to rest”, the new concept restaurant advertises on its website. That indeed seems to be the case, as there’s always something to going on whether you come for lunch, drinks or dinner. Located in a converted car wash in the Schinkel quarter, near Amsterdam Oud Zuid, Atelier has a rich decor but the menu is quite affordable. It therefore attracts a very mixed audience, from rags to riches. From 11 o’clock in the evening you can enjoy a drink immersed in the swinging beats of a DJ.

Atelier restaurant and event location

Atelier is a new horeca, event and location rental concept in Amsterdam. It used to be a car wash, but after some heavy renovations it’s a creative and cozy hot-spot in Amsterdam. Atelier is a mixture of everything; food, drinks, people and dancing but also meetings, workshops, training and management development.

This unique location is ever changing! Partnerships with DJ’s, love music, meetings, expositions and festivals this is an interesting place to visit. In winter the a la carte restaurant is closed, but you can still sit down for a drink to take in the creative atmosphere.
