After spending a decade working for high-end vintage luxury flagship store FLAIR-Florence, Emar van Dellen decided to launch a similar concept here in Amsterdam. The result, GALLERY 64/65, showcases rare 20th-century furniture, art, and design from Italy, France, Brazil and Belgium – think brass Sciolari chandeliers and cream bouclé covered Geoffrey Harcourt lounge chairs – in an unusual gallery context. “My partner Paolo Gorgoni Gufoni and I chose the Utrechtsestraat for its casual yet elegant appeal,” says Van Dellen. It’s a perfect fit.
