Dok Amsterdam

Dok Amsterdam is the new hot location in the Amsterdam Houthavens. This location is the perfect mix between industrial, beachy and eclectic. As you might have seen in our Best Food Festivals in Amsterdam 2018 list, they host various festivals on the Dok Amsterdam Premises this year but that is not all! Besides that they also have their own café: Dok’s Café where you can come to sit down, relax, have a drink or even a bite. You can come here by car (€3,- per hour), with bus 48 from central station or you can even park your boat after a long sunny day in the city.

Whatever you do, don’t forget to enjoy this new city beach for as long as the Dutch summer lasts!

Dok’s Café, when and what to eat?

Dok’s Café is open from Thursday to Sunday from 12:00 until 23:00. You can’t eat a full dinner here, it is more of a hangout spot. But you can order enough snacks and sandwiches to full yourself up. Go for some super nacho’s, the traditional Dutch fried snacks, a salad or a simple (but tasty) sandwich.
