The Tour starts in Amsterdam, from here you will travel to the picturesque Zaanse Schans and Volendam, both north of the capital. After this, you will visit an antique windmill that is still operating daily. Learn how this iconic Dutch windmill operates. Visit a demonstration by a traditional clog maker and taste some cheese during a tasting session at a local cheese factory. Afterwards, you will take a boat trip on the IJsselmeer to Marken and its iconic wooden houses. In the afternoon you will visit the historic city center of Delft which is full of canals and medieval churches. But that is not all that makes Delft special. The town has gained world-fame because of its white and blue ceramic pottery. The Best of Holland Tour will take you inside one of the few remaining Delftware factories to see how these beautiful decorations are made. From there you will travel to The Hague and see the world’s oldest House of Parliament that is still in use today and King Willem-Alexander’s working palace. We’ll stop for a quick photo at the Peace Palace, which is famous for being home to the International Criminal Court of the United Nations.
