Red Light Jazz is the Jazz festival in and around the Red Light District in Amsterdam. At the end of 2013 a group of jazz-lovers gathered to dream big and turn these jazz-dreams into reality! The plan of organizing a Jazz festival in Amsterdam wasn’t new, the plan was already described in 2005 but it wasn’t until 2014 that this plan became a reality. The first edition in July 2014 had 10 participating locations, the 2018 edition has over 30 locations participating in the festivities!
About the 2018 edition of Red Light Jazz
This year the festival celebrates their birthday with new stages and a special photo book that looks back on 4 years of amazing Red Light Jazz Festival.
How to get there
If you come by car we advise you to park at the Oosterdok in Amsterdam. This is one of the cheapest options in the area. You can also travel to the city by train and walk to the area from Amsterdam Central Station.
