Located in the grand classical concert hall Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, a new culinary spot opened its doors. 4’33 Grand Café is a contemporary restaurant with a unique view over the Amsterdam IJ river. Its name refers to the work 4’33 “by the American avant-garde composer John Cage. Open throughout the day, it’s a perfect place for breakfast, a healthy lunch or pre-concert dinner and drinks. And not to forget, they serve some of the best pastries in town from the famous Dutch Dudok bakery. It’s an inspiring meet up place for local residents, musicians and concertgoers.
Good morning, perfect afternoon
The 4’33 Grand Café Compleet will make for a good start of your day. This breakfast dish comes with a fresh Croissant, Bread slices, Poached egg, Avocado, Cheese, Jam and an American Pancake. Doesn’t that sound great? A favorite from the lunch menu is the Brioche bread with pulled Jackfruit and pickled Cucumber. To finish, have one of the amazing cakes from Dudok Patisserie with a good cup of coffee and enjoy the marvelous view.
A night out at 4’33 Grand Café
Their dinner menu changes every two weeks and is based around the Southern European cuisine. The chef likes to experiment with contemporary twists on classic dishes.
