First Art Fair

The First Art Fair marks the start of another year of great art fairs in Amsterdam. From 16 to 20 January, the Passenger Terminal will be the location for a huge showcase of high-level contemporary art. From young artists to renowned names, over 30 galleries from across the country selected the best for you. Expect anything from paintings to photography and sculptures. But also craftsmanships in the field of jewelry and glass designs. Visit and be amazed!

Just Open: La Lotteria by The Color Kitchen

This week the The Color Kitchen opened their newest restaurant “La Lotteria” on the South part of town. This intimate osteria brings you Italian vibes with authentic affordable Italian dishes and an extensive wine list. Wether you’re craving antipasti, pasta or pizza, everything is made with local and seasonal products to ensure the freshest flavors and avoid food waste as much as possible. Their name refers to the fact that every guest has the chance to win a repeat visit for two! And, even more special is that they’re located in the most sustainable building in the Netherlands.

Amsterdam Hotelnacht 2019

Amsterdam Hotelnacht (Hotel Night) 2019 is a night, or actually two, where locals have the chance to stay at one of the participating hotels for less than the normal price. But, there is much more to this event than that! On 19 & 20 January many hotels in Amsterdam organize special events, dining experiences and night time parties. How about a Masquerade Bourbon Street Party at House Bar Amsterdam, a blind wine tasting at The Manor or an American Winter BBQ at the American Hotel located on Leidsesquare?

Taiko x FEBO Late Night Pop-Up and Hangover Brunch

For Hotelnacht the Tunes Bar, located in the five star Conservatorium Hotel on Museumsquare, partnered up with Amsterdam’s best known snackbar the FEBO. The Late Night Pop-Up will be open on Saturday night for a quick bite and for the ultimate Hangover Brunch on Sunday. The bar will serve FEBO snacks with a culinary Taiko twist. Expect dishes like a Langoustine Frikandel, Wagyu Burgers and truffle croquettes. The famous milkshake will be upgraded by Ketel One Vodka and a DJ will play you the best tunes. Brunch on Sunday will be on from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with bloody mary’s and an amazing brunch menu.

New Exhibition at the Moco Museum: Daniel Arsham – Connecting Time

This Friday the Moco Museum will open their new exhibition Connecting Time to the public. This will be the first ever solo exhibit by the New York artist Daniel Arsham. This multi-disciplinary exhibition will showcase works from different highlights of his blooming career.  Daniel known for his love for pop culture, archeology and sport and he combines this in his fascinating design, film and art pieces. Expect to be taken to and amazed by alternative realities and surrealistic environments.

020borrel presents .2019. – boat party

Creative spirits, sailors and party lovers come together! On Friday 18th of January 020borrel kick off this years party season on the beautiful Supperclub cruise. This boat party will be the setting for a perfect night out for you and your friends. Expect live entertainment, DJ sets, bites and Cocktails & Champagne. Everything you need, right? The boat will set sail from the Docking Pier 14 behind Amsterdam Central Station at 10.00 p.m., so make sure you’re on board by then!

Restaurant C 3 Year Anniversary Celebration

Restaurant C invites you to celebrate their 3 year anniversary with a big party! Ever since it’s opening the chefs at this hotspot in Amsterdam East have been serving innovative dishes and beverages using different temperatures to create texture and taste. Try out their new cocktails, have a taste of the C-bites, join in on the photobooth fun and dance the night away to live DJ sets. At 8 p.m. Milos Stanisic will officially open the renewed Bar C. The first cocktail is on the house and after that all cocktails will be available for a special price.

Sunday Social invites Amsterdenim at W Amsterdam

This Sunday it’s time for another edition of Amsterdam’s hottest rooftop party. From 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. the W Lounge on the top floor of the five star W Hotel invites you to mingle, have a drink and maybe even a little dance to the beats of Cover Girl Sunny Jansen.
