Taco Galore at Taqueria LIMA

Attention all Taco enthusiasts. From 1 to 4 November, Taqueria LIMA located at the Foodhallen will celebrate the most important feast of Mexico; Dias de los Muertos. Get yourself some of their amazingly tasteful tacos, like the one with corn fried chicken or chipotle braised beef. Combine that with a cocktail or a cold craft beer for the perfect weekend treat. Affordable Art Fair

From November 1st until the 4th art the RAI Amsterdam turns into the Affordable Art Fair. Browse between over 1000 contemporary artworks in all different genres. The best news is that all works have a price range between €100 and €6000, making art more accessible and affordable for all. Next to the exhibition you can expect there to be lots of activities like lectures and drinks and bites make your afternoon complete.

Celebrate Día de los Muertos at Escobar

Tapas restaurant Escobar will host a party on Thursday November 1st to celebrate Día de los Muertos; the day of the death. From 9.00 p.m. on the bar turns into a dancing zone where you can let your inner zombie out. Entrance is free and they encourage you to put on your deadliest outfit! A make-up artist will be present, providing the finishing touch to your outfit.

Oyster and Gin Tonics at the Seafood Bar

After dinner on Friday November 2nd, the Seafood Bar will move over the tables, dim their lights and turn up the music for a night of world class oysters and refreshing Gin Tonics. The best part: the oysters go for €1 per piece and they have about 4000 of them in stock for the night!

 Novemberfest at the South pole

After a simmering summer restaurant Strandzuid (South Beach) packs up to make place for their winter alter ego: Zuidpool (South Pole). On Friday November 2nd all cocktail and beer lovers are invited for Novemberfest. Get your lederhosen ready and start practicing on your yodeling.  This will be a night to remember with lots of beers, bratwurst and other tradition German treats. Museum Night

On Saturday 3 November the 2018 edition of Museum Night will take place. This is one of Amsterdam’s most bespoken art events, with 57 of the biggest museums in town opening their doors for all sorts of activities, special exhibitions and tours. Major museums like Stedelijk Museum, Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum participate during this event. But don’t forget to pay a visit to one of the many smaller and niche museums the city has to offer.

Showtime at the Melkweg

Backdoor at the Melkweg promises a crazy night out. With the theme of this edition being Circus, you can expect to be amazed the whole night through. Dance your busy week off to the tunes of DJ Phil Romano, DJ Inshane and redident DJ Diego Summers. There are going to be live acts, go go dancers, performance art and much more. Bali Style Brunch at Mama Makan

After a summer break, the Sunday Bali Brunch at Mama Makan has returned. For this edition Eve from welikebali.com will do a talk on Bali while you get to enjoy a delightful Indonesian buffet. Perfect if you are traveling to the island soon or just want to imagine yourself being there. The revenue of the day will go to Indonesia, to help out with the damage caused by recent earthquakes. The Sunday Market at the Westergasfabriek is the perfect place to escape the busyness of the city for a while. Located on the west part of town you’ll find this street market offering you anything you need for a perfect Sunday. Stroll along the stands with fashion items, handy crafts, art and delicious food and beverages. Several activities and live entertainment will keep you and the family busy for the entire afternoon!
