Nicky Gouveia (Silkwood Antiques) and Astrid Cornelisse (Galerie Amsterdam) opened a new shop last August at the Nieuwe Spiegelstraat 5b-9a. The 200m2 store shows their beautiful mixed collection of antique and modern arts. The store has three focus areas. Firstly Art, where they exhibit figurative contemporary art by national and international artists from various disciplines. Truly beautiful and exciting high quality pieces. Antiques, where they show a broad collection of classic fabrics and antique objects. Here you also find Nicky who reupholsters furniture and Lennart who restores furniture. And lastly More, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee whilst browsing the antiquarian books department. The store is the new place to be for arts and antique lovers.
