Back to the future in Foam

Back to the Future in Foam photography museum is a special exhibition that shows the relations between current and 19^th century photography. Right now we are in a similar phase as when photography was just starting out; artists try new things and techniques. This exposition tells the story of what it was, what it is and what it will be.

About Back to the Future

The current photographers selected to be on display during Back to the Future use the foundations of photography that developed in the 19^th century. In their work they make good use of light, dark rooms and science but then with a whole new perspective. In this way they build upon the history of photography while experimenting and innovating the art of taking photos. Back to the Future presents the work of contemporary artists together with the work of a number of pioneers from the nineteenth century.
