The Breakfast Club in Amsterdam is, as you could have guessed by its name, devoted to breakfast! Here you can enjoy all-day breakfast with dishes inspired by Paris and New York and many other places.

The Breakfast Club has options for everyone, since you can choose from breakfasts from all over the world. Would you like a Mexican breakfast with fried eggs, black bean salsa, avocado and cheddar cheese? Or maybe an English breakfast or New York pancakes? Of course they also serve pies, sandwiches, cereals, juices and smoothies. And for the difficult mornings they serve a great cup of coffee. The products at The Breakfast Club are all very fresh and locally produced.

With four locations in the city, one of them must be reasonably close to you. Al four locations are open every day, from 8 a.m.

Located in Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht in the famous canal district, you’ll find Bluespoon restaurant. This top restaurant has a menu bursting with picture-perfect European dishes that flirt with local Dutch products. The chef is Sander Bierenbroodspot. He is always busy making the best meal possible and thinking of his next masterpiece.

Bluespoon serves a delicious breakfast and the best brunch. You can have a light breakfast at the buffet, or you can pick something from the menu. How about a breakfast bowl with quinoa, cucumber, poached egg and spinach. Or maybe avocado and eggs, with feta, olives and tomato? And when you’re really hungry you have to go for eggs royale with smoked salmon. Of course they also serve pancakes, yoghurt and French toast. And you can even have your egg cooked just the way you want it. Pick the fillings and side dishes and you will have an amazing breakfast.

In the weekends you can go here for the much-loved Bluespoon Sunday Brunch. The brunch is often fully booked, so make reservations if you do not want to miss out.

The interior is designed by Marcel Wanders. The space has an impressive show kitchen and a relaxed atmosphere. It offers a chic-yet-whimsical hideaway overlooking a secret enchanted garden. This is the perfect place to relax and start your day with a lovely meal.

Café De Huyschkaemer is open every day from 9 a.m.. On Sunday they open at 11 a.m.. Not a morning person? No worries. They’ll gladly make an exception and prepare one of their many satisfying breakfast meals for you later in the day!

Restaurant Café Blond is open every day. During weekdays they open at 8.30 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. On Saturdays they open at 9 a.m. and on Sundays” at 10 a.m. The breakfast dishes are served until 1 p.m.

The red velvet cake at De Drie Graefjes is legendary, but that is not all they serve. In their American bakery they make American pancakes, muffins, brownies, carrot cake, hummingbird cake and lots more of these delicious treats. You can eat them for breakfast of course but at De Drie Graefjes they also serve all-day breakfast, like French toast, yoghurt with granola and all kinds of eggs, like scrambled eggs, omelets and croque madame. Besides that you can also visit this place for a wonderful high tea, the perfect break in any day.

De Drie Graefjes has four locations in Amsterdam which are all open every day of the week, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You can have them scrambled, poached, fried, smothered in Hollandaise, or any other way you like. Teds also offers granola and a selection of American cereals. You can choose from full fat milk, skimmed milk, soya milk or almond milk. The brioche French toast with bacon, banana and maple syrup is delicious. And the Philly cheese steak sandwiches, gluten-free naked veggie burgers, and pulled-chicken clubs with ‘bad-ass spicy sauce’ are highly recommended. And they have delicious cocktails, too! For a ‘boozy brunch’.

The menu is inspired by cultures from all over the world. Start your day with a healthy granola bowl with Greek yoghurt and fresh fruit. If you’re up for a hearty meal you can choose an omelette and pick your toppings. There are also some vegan options, like the love bowl with soy yoghurt and gluten free granola. And of course you can have a bun with hummus and grilled veggies or a bun with avocado, salad, tomato and lime. Do you like a sweet breakfast? Benji’s also serves croissants, scones and waffles.

Benji’s is the perfect place for a wonderful breakfast, whether you’re alone or with friends. They are open from Tuesday till Sunday from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m.

At restaurant Water & Brood (Water & Bread) they have one motto: good food, no bullshit. The place opened in 2017 and is already very well known in Amsterdam. It is run by two brothers who want to serve quality food which are inspired by American dishes and flavours from Suriname.

Here you can enjoy an all day brunch. Would you like some waffles with southern fried chicken? Or maybe you want to try the breakfast burrito with scrambled egg, salsa, black beans, bacon, cheddar cheese and avocado? If you’re up for a light breakfast, you can try the Greek yoghurt with granola and fruit and scrambled egg on toast. For the healthy hipsters they have a delicious acai bowl. Did you have a rough night? Try the American pancakes with bacon, scrambled eggs and sausages. Of course there’s a healthy version of pancakes, which is served with Greek yoghurt and fruit.

With only 25 seats Water & Brood is one of the more intimate breakfast and best brunch spots in town. A nice place is you like peace and quiet. You are welcome here on every day of the week. From Tuesday until Friday they are opened from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday they are opened from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bar Botanique, café tropique, is open all day for a good breakfast. The interior is amazing. As the name already suggests, it’s a nice green space with lots of plants. There is a nice bar to sit ar. Or maybe you would like a seat at the window for a nice view?

Bar Botanique has some great breakfast options. This is the best place for something sweet in the morning. Try the chocolate ganache cake or grandma’s carrot cake. The blueberry cheesecake and the salted caramel pecan fudge brownie are to die for. Would you like something healthier? Have a chia bowl or some yoghurt with granola and toast on the side. Are you a lover of eggs? Then you must have the scrambled eggs with truffle and parmesan cheese.

Bar Botanique opens its doors every day at 9 a.m. and they are open until 1 a.m. On Friday and Saturday they are open until 3 a.m.

You will love the pluk-breakfast which consists of an omelette with vegetables, a croissant with marmalade accompanied by orange juice and coffee or tea. Do you want a healthy start of your day? Have some overnight oats or try a fruit bowl. How about the mermaid bowl with banana, coconut, pineapple and granola? Of maybe you’ll like the beachy bali bowl, with mango, strawberries, figs and almond flakes? Pluk also serves delicious juices, smoothies and pancakes.

Are you an avocado lover? Then you will love this place! The Avocado Show restaurant makes anything with avocado. So go for superfood with your breakfast at this hotspot! They serve everyone, so it doesn’t matter if you’re a carnivore, a flexitarian, a vegetarian or a vegan.

You really should try the eggs with smoked salmon and avocado. This dish is served with watercress and hollandaise sauce and the eggs are perfectly poached. Are you a meat lover? Try the eggs with avocado and bacon. Of course The Avocado Show also serves pancakes with avocado. The matcha pancakes with blueberries and avocado butter are delicious. And of course there’s a good breakfast special. This special consists of two avocado halves filled with hummus and served with a bagel on the side.

The Avocado Show is open every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
