Bimhuis

The Bimhuis Amsterdam is the Jazz Music Hall of the city. It is conveniently located on the site of the Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ. Because of that it shares some interesting features with this spectacular building, starting with the location and the beautiful view of the river. Together they host international music festivals and events. But the two music halls also have their own identities, creating a unique cultural location at the banks of ‘t IJ.

About the Bimhuis

The Bimhuis is a platform for pioneering musicians from all generations, from local artists to more international musicians. With over 300 concerts a year, the program gives an up-to-date overview of jazz and improvised music.  Besides that, the music hall also invites musicians from many other interesting genres, including world music and electronic music.

The location hosts monthly events such as the Monday Match and Workshop & Session events, but also has a unique schedule with national and international artists that perform on their stage. Check their website for an up-to-date schedule and tickets.
