Bridges

Bridges is all about fish! From bouillabaisse to sea bass in salt crust, Chef de Cuisine Bobby Rust is always looking for creative ways to make classic traditional dishes perfect with a unique twist. The beautiful Garden Terrace, Amsterdam’s best kept secrets, is an oasis of peace and tranquility and the perfect location to savor culinary delights. In September 2015 the Garden Terrace was awarded as Amsterdam’s most cozy terrace. Bridges is the place where every ‘Amsterdammer’ feels at home: a restaurant with inviting service, hospitality and conviviality; a place to enjoy the spectacular pairings of seafood and wine.

Enjoy fish at Bridges

Bridges is located on a legendary location. Previously it was the cafetaria of the old city hall, but no cafeteria food comes out of those kitchens anymore. Now it is a place for fish-loving foodies to enjoy the gourmet cooking skills of Chef Andrès Delpeut. The restaurant is all about fish, from a perfect bouillabaisse to sea bass in a perfect salty crust, every meal is a perfect creation. The restaurant is a place where locals and tourists feel at home. People from all walks of life come to enjoy the food.

in 2015 Bridges had a complete revamping. The French designer Christope Daudré turned the place into a modern fish restaurant that is cozy and warm at the same time. In Paris you will have to visit the Eiffeltower, in Amsterdam you should visit the canals. And while you do so, visit Bridges as the restaurant is situated at one of the most beautiful canals in the city: the Oudezijds Voorburgwal.
