Café Berkhout

Café Berkhout, located on the corner of Stadhouderskade and Ferdinand Bolstraat, opposite the old Heineken Brewery, is one of the most well-known typical ‘brown’ cafes in the city. A welcome hotspot at the ‘entrance’ of De Pijp. It welcomes both locals and tourists for lunch, dinner or drinks. Highlights on Berkhout’s menu are the homemade soup, the tasty Deluxe Burger (prepared with grilled vegetables and red onion compote) and the Angus Burger with cheddar, jalapeño and chilli mayonnaise.
