Café Jakarta

At Café Jakarta you’re welcome for mid-morning brunches, seafood lunches, oriental dinners and drinks at the bar after that. The menu at the restaurant located in the vibrant Hotel Jakarta offers both traditional Indonesian cuisine as well as amazing western and seafood dishes. The French executive and Indonesian sous chef created a surprising Asian fusion style menu, using western ingredients combined with oriental spices and flavors. café jakarta food restaurant

During the day Café Jakarta serves classic brunch dishes with a twist. Club Sandwiches, Eggs Benedict and Salads, all with a hint of traditional Indonesian ingredients. From 11.30 a.m. on you’ll be able to order off the evening menu as well. It’s a bold mix of western and Indonesian delicacies, making it hard to choose what to go for. Definitely try one of their sate’s to combine with the Nasi Goreng (stir fried rice) or any of the other wok dishes. The Duck breast with Cardemon jus, nashi pear and coriander-potato puree is another favorite of the mains. Or, if you’re a vegetarian: the Pak Choi with soy aubergine, chili and red onions. The Coconut cheesecake with pineapple granité, mango and rose water gel will be the perfect ending to this flavorful dinner experience!
