Crossroads in the Allard Pierson Museum

Crossroads, travelling through the middle ages in the Allard Pierson Museum gives color to the dark ages, better known as the middle ages. With various objects from this time, the museum shows that these ages might not have been as dark as one thinks. There was a wide variety of cultures and developments that happened fast, making it an interesting time both then and now. During the exhibition you will see how these cultures influenced and got in touch with each other.

The Allard Pierson Museum is the archaeological museum of the University of Amsterdam, besides this exhibition you will find other interesting artifacts from various periods in time.

About Crossroads

Due to its success the exhibition is extended, Crossroads is on display until April 2^nd. The exhibition is part of a European project and will move on to Athens and Bonn after it ends here in Amsterdam.
