The Go Gallery features CTRL Cut, the first solo exposition by Burry Buermans. His work can be recognized by very detailed, hand cut images that have a hint of actuality. The artist works with the original images from books, magazines and newspapers.

About CTRL Cut in Go Gallery

For CTRL Cut he will show about 100 collage pieces. 40 of those pieces are part of his stamp series. These little works of art are made up from various stamps. During the exposition you will get a magnifying glass to discover all the details. Besides that there are also some 3D collages on display. The basis of these pieces are bunny skulls and are named “Space Bunnies”.

As a child, Burry Buermans (1982) dreamed of becoming an artist. “My parents did not think that was a good idea, but the blood creeps where it cannot go.” With this solo exposition Buermans proves once and for all that he deserves his place in the art scene.
