De Japanner

De Japanner has rapidly become a household name in Amsterdam when it comes to delightful Japanese dishes and tasteful cocktails. With two restaurants on top locations, this is your go to for lunch, a night out with friends or a late-night dinner. The first one is situated at the world-famous Albert Cuyp Market and the other, slightly bigger location, on the west part of town. Next to the Japanese street food menu they serve a wide range of beers, cocktails and sake until well after midnight!

What to expect at De Japanner

For their food De Japanner uses fresh, local and seasonal products. The concept is based on the traditional Japanese Izakaya: small spots where Japanese workers some to relax with a drink and a bite. They combine Amsterdam coziness with affordable Japanese cuisine, which makes for a perfect combination. Expect dishes like Salmon Tataki, Gyoza with Wagyu Beef and Yuzu Cheesecake with Lime Zest. Add one of their Japanese inspired cocktails like the Taketsuru’s Poison with Nikka Whisky, Thai Ginger Ale and Lime to that and you’ll have the perfect dinner!
