Pizza and Prosecco, a fine combination if you ask us. De Pizzabakkers is a local’s favorite when it comes to traditional Italian wood oven pizzas with a flavorful crispy and thin bottom. All ingredients used are carefully chosen, like sausages and hams from family businesses right from Italy. Fresh salads or bruschetta’s as an entrée and a delicious authentic tiramisu for dessert.
The Burrata con Peperonata with roasted bell pepper and black olives makes for a perfect light starter. Besides the classic Margeritha or Prosciutto a favorite from the pizzas is the Da Noi. This one comes with bell pepper cream sauce, mozzarella, Italian sausage and pecorino. Finger licking good! They have enough options for vegetarians as well and if you don’t like cheese (is that possible?) they can leave that out in some of the dishes. During (or after) dinner you can enjoy a good selection of wines, prosecco and cocktails. Tip: ask about the pizza of the month, inspired by seasonal products!
There are 6 locations all over town. So wherever you’re situated, there is always a Pizzabakkers near you. The one on the Plantage Kerklaan 2 is also open for lunch, perfect to combine with a visit to the nearby Artis Royal Zoo.
Have a look at their website for an overview of all locations.
