Hangar

Hangar has recently opened and is already an essential part of top cuisine in Amsterdam. The restaurant is an industrial styled restaurant housed in a former ship’s hangar on the north side of the IJ river. The service in this hotspot is nothing less than perfect. As is the menu. To keep it fresh and attractive, the chef changes the menu every six weeks. Every Sunday there is a live jazz band playing with talented singer songwriters, hosted by Juan Wells.

Hangar at Amsterdam North

Amsterdan North is one of the upcoming neighborhoods in the city. New hotspots and cool restaurants pop-up all over the place and this restaurant is one of those new hotspots. When the owners spotted the location they knew right away that this was the perfect place for their restaurant. When Chef Ricardo van Ede joined the team the culinary match was perfect as well! His pure creations fit the allover style and vision of the restaurant; rauw and soft, better known as a beautiful mess. The restaurant also has a great all-season terrace where you can enjoy food or drinks whenever you want.
