Hoed & Krelis

Hoed & Krelis is situated on a corner in the electric the Pijp area. The kitchen here offers a world tour of flavors from lunch to dinner and cocktails. Their interior is what we like to call picture perfect, with an eye-catching pink marble and brass bar against a gorgeous green backdrop. On the menu you’ll find a range of tasty international dishes and a large selection of quality wines.

Hoed & Krelis by day

On weekends Hoed & Krelis is the perfect spot to sit down after a stroll over the busy yet always fun Albert Cuyp Market. Their lunch menu offers a selection of tasty brunch classics, sandwiches and salads. A few recommendations are the Lobster Roll with lime, butter mayonnaise and fries and the Classic French Toast with fresh fruit, maple syrup and crème fraîche. Vegetarian? Try the Flatbread Tosti (grilled cheese) with Feta, spinach and harissa mayonnaise. It’s delicious!

Hoed & Krelis by night

At night Hoed & Krelis turns into a cozy hang-out where locals come together for a tasteful dinner and drinks after. The Gamba’s a La Aioli served with garlic, lemon, chives and bread is a dish not to miss out on. Or how about Ravioli Burro E Salvia with ricotta, parmesan, butter, smoked almonds, sage and green asparagus?  Yes please, if you ask us. Both their wine and cocktail list offer a selection of delicious options. And try to save a spot for the Ferdinand Bol: a white chocolate dome with cheesecake, passion fruit and mango.

Good to know: the kitchen closes at 11:00 p.m., which is quite late for Amsterdam standards. So even for a late night dinner, this is your go to.
