At JuiceBrothers in De Pijp they sell the best cold-pressed juices. Here fruits and vegetables are shredded and hydraulically pressed, with minimal generation of heat and thus minimal oxidation. Heat destroys many of the vitamins, minerals and active enzymes you think you’re getting when consuming other “healthy” juices. The cold-press method protects the enzymes, resulting in juice that has the maximum amount of nutrients.
