A new exhibtion of Kim de Molenaer is on display in the Eduard Planting Gallery right here in Amsterdam. The photographer lives and works in Antwerp and Athens, before his solo work he was the assistant of the acclaimed photographer Marc Langrange. At the exposition you will find a selection of black & white photographs taken in the stunning Greece. See the beauty of the country through his lens as she captures reenactments of historical and mythological figures.
About his work
In Molenaer’s work you see humans in a vunerable state, staged and improvised but nonetheless raw and captivating. His obsession with the naked body and its forms shows through his usage or contrast. De Molenaer’s work is now on display during the Hellenic/Nostalgic exposition that runs until April 14th.
