KLIK Amsterdam Animation Festival

From 10 until 14 October the 11^th edition of animated film festival KLIK will take place at the EYE Film Museum. Expect animated film at its best by both traditional and groundbreaking artists. The theme of this year’s edition is State of Mind, inviting you to expand your horizons and dive into the beautiful and perplexing world of the mind. During the festival, KLIK will be taking over parts of The Butcher Social Club. Expect tasty drinks, music and amazing food. The perfect ingredients for a full day of fun!

The programmers watched over 1600 films from over 80 countries in order to make a selection for KLIK Festival. This resulted in a diverse program, ranging from experimental short movies to work from seasoned professionals. From vintage cartoons to Sci-Fi thrillers that’ll give you chills and laughing your heart out at one of the comedies. Students from all over the world were able to submit their work for the category Animated Student Short, of which a selection will be shown during the festival.

KLIK Festival for Kids

There’s a full program for the young as well. Feed your little humans mind with animated film encouraging creativity and imagination. The program features adventurous films for kids between the age of 3 and 12. Next to this KLIK will host  voice booking workshops and other fun bite-sized activities! Yes, young at heart adults may join in too.
