Three friends are making Dutch gin, jenever, trendy again. They are doing so with their own organic, locally produced brand Jajem. And with a hip new bar on Zeedijk: Kopstootbar (‘kop stoot’ literally means “a blow to the head” but in Amsterdam it is an order of beer and Jenever). Kopstootbar attracts a mixed crowd of tourists and students and guarantees typical Dutch cosiness.
