La Gita Italian Pop-Up Restaurant

From the 22nd of January until the 12th of March The Grand has an Italian pop-up restaurant; La Gita. The Grand is one of the most exquise hotels in the city so don’t expect your average, run of the mill Italian food at La Gita. Their Chef Andrès Delpeut took a trip to Italy this summer. During this trip he was inspired by the country that is known for its amazing cuisine and passion for gastronomy. This inspiration translates into a very special menu for La Gita that you have got to try! He created all kinds of adventurous and special dishes inspired by dishes from all over Italy.

His signature dish is the truffle risotto, but we’ve heard that the ossobuco is also really worth a try! Part of the lobby will be fully decorated in an Italian style to make the experience even more authentic.

The Grand is located in the Red Light District and a visit to the pop-up restaurant can perfectly be combined with a visit to the Amsterdam City Centre.
