Steak lovers can we have your attention! The famous steak restaurant chain Loetje is opening a “Loetje on Ice” this winter in the Olympic Stadium (het Olympisch Stadion).

From the 18th of January until the 28th of February the coolest ice skating rink in the city will open. During the first edition in 2014 108000 people found their way to this winter attraction. The ice skating rink has been a great succes ever since!

The Loetje on Ice restaurant offers seats to a 150 guests at a time. They will serve juicy stakes all day. Besides that, they will have an extensive menu for lunch, drinks and dinner. This “On Ice” version of the popular Loetje chain is the first pop-up restaurant of the famous Amsterdam steak chain.

De Coolste Baan van Nederland 2018

It all started with a dream. A dream to once organize a World Championship Allround in the open air of the Olympic Stadium of Amsterdam. In 2014 the first Coolste Baan van Nederland was a great success! From January 18 to February 28 the Olympic Stadium will turn into a 400 meter ice-skating rink. Come and enjoy this unique experience for all ages. You can go ice-skating, curling or follow one of the ice-skating clinics. Besides that you can enjoy competitive ice skating matches and live-entertainment. There will be opportunities for watching the Olympic at giant screens in the stadium and when a Dutch athlete will win gold in Pyeongchang, the flame of the Olympic Stadium will burn to celebrate the success.
