Until the 23rd of September “Made in Italy” is on display at the Museum of Bags and Purses. During this exposition the museum focuses on Italian design. It is immensely popular, but why is that. And what makes something true Italian design? Answers to these questions can be found in fashion accessories from famous designers such as Prada, Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana. During the exposition some famous pieces worn by Sophia Loren, Barbra Streisand and Lady Gaga are on display.
Made in Italy label adds value to items
The high quality of fabrics with special patterns (such as the distinct patterns of Emilio Pucci), contribute to the iconic Italian design. To put Milan and Italian design on the map, the term Made in Italy was introduced in the 1970s. The term serves Italian makers as a joint pay-off and quality mark even now in 2018. Italian fashion is loved and prized world-wide. This exhibition is an homage to Italian fashion and a must-visit for all fashion lovers.
