With its mainly veg-led menu, this perpetually packed Israeli eatery in De Pijp has become a place of pilgrimage for the city’s vegan and vegetarian crowd, but Ottolenghi fans will love the familiar flavours too. For lunch, there are a variety of generously topped hummus plates and salads, while dinner brings smoky aubergine dip, falafel, shashuka and the famous “psychedelic cauliflower” with tahini, lemon and garlic. Due to the limited space, reservations really are advised.
