Meditation in the Botanical Gardens Amsterdam

Every Tuesday in June and September the Hortus Botanicus, Amsterdam’s botanical gardens, hosts a Conscious club. A meditation session in one of the beautiful green houses of the botanical gardens. It is the perfect place to meditate in the middle of this hustling and bustling city. During these evenings there are various meditative events such as guided meditations, natural movement and yin yoga, breathing exercises and a sound journey; a relaxing concert with a harp, guitars and a gong that will take you on a relaxing trip.

The Conscious Club in Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam

You have to buy a ticket for these events (prices range between €20,- and €30,-) to ensure that the greenhouse isn’t too crowded. Besides your ticket you will also need to bring your own yoga mat, pillow and anything else you thing you might need during the meditation session.
