Meneer Nieges is Yiddish for Mister Bad Luck, referring to the location where several restaurants have failed. But with Mister Nieges that spell is definitely broken. This bar and restaurant boasts a huge terrace on Westerdok and the new owners have managed to create this magically relaxed vibe. They know what they are doing as they have done the same thing at their other places Canibale Royaal and De Vergulden Eenhoorn. Now a young and beautiful crowd sips locally brewed beers and orders fresh seasonal food on their terrace and inside in their restaurant. It’s as simple as that.

What to order at Meneer Nieges

The beautiful terrace on it’s own is already worth a visit when the sun hits the city, but when the day is coming to an end and your stomach starts to growl we can recommend the Côte de Boeuf.
