Moeders

Moeders (literally translated: Mothers) has been serving traditional Dutch cuisine for over 25 years. Stew, braised pheasant or filet with celeriac puree, they have it all. This local hero on the corner of Rozengracht and Nassaukade is the perfect place to get a taste of the Dutch kitchen in a homey atmosphere. It’s a restaurant where families and friends come together for comfort food and cosiness.

For the best experience we recommend you to try the Dutch Rice table (for 2 persons), which is a combination of all the specialties they serve. Granny’s stewed beef, Hotchpotch (mashed potatoes and vegetables) sausage and bacon are just a few of the tasty treats you’ll get.  Some of the dishes will be served in pots and pans to your table, just like you would do at home! End your Dutch dinner with Mommy’s Apple Pie served with vanilla ice-cream on the side.

On the walls of the restaurant you will find many hundreds of portraits, with this bringing an ode to known and unknown mothers. We love it.
