From 10 to 14 October the Parool Film Fest 2018 (Paff) will take place in Amsterdam. Five days in a row the latest cinema movies will be shown as a (pre-) premiere. Most of the films are selected at major film festivals in Cannes, Berlin and Toronto, filling the program with the most important arthouse films from the new cultural season.
The opening of the festival will be the Dutch national premiere of a film about a family of scammers by director Hirokazu Kore-eda: Shoplifters. The arthouse film was awarded the Golden Palm at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. The perfect pick to start the festival with.
