Scheepskamel is the new restaurant from the people that are also behind Rijsel! Restaurant Rijsel is one of the city’s favourites and has been fully booked almost every night since it opened five years ago. Now the owners – together with their sommelier and an external chef – have opened a brand new place at the former marine base in the city centre. At Scheepskameel you eat beautiful but simple dishes (at reasonable prices), with solely German wines in an unbeatable atmosphere. All we can say is: book well in advance because this restaurant is, once again, a gem in the city!
The restaurant is only a 10 minute walk from The National Maritime Museum. Make the visit to one of the most beautiful buildings in the city complete with a great dining experience at Scheepskameel.
