Sea Palace Chinese Restaurant

On the canals near Amsterdam Central Station you’ll find the iconic Sea Palace. This beautiful floating building houses what is known to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Amsterdam. The characteristic architecture of the grande restaurant has made Sea Palace into an Amsterdam landmark since it’s opening in 1984. The 3 floors hold up to 650 guests, making it a perfect spot for celebrations with bigger groups. In an oriental ambiance they serve the best of the Cantonese kitchen. The menu is filled with tasty options like Beijing duck, hot pot and seafood dishes. Two favorites are the Stuffed Crab Claw’s and the Roasted Pork belly paired with Spicy Sichuan noodles.

Another favorite is their Dim Sum lunch. The special menu offers an amazing range of tasty small bites made for sharing. From steamed, to lightly seared and all kinds of sweet options. Don’t miss out on the Steamed Prawn Dumpling, the Fried Pork Dumpling and the Steamed Bun with Honey BBQ Pork. And if you’re having a hard time choosing between the extensive list of dishes, the waiter will be more than happy to give you some recommendations. Keep in mind that their Dim Sum menu can be ordered until 16:00.
