Speed Up Slow Down, Redesigning Amsterdam is the result of a collaboration between more than 60 professionals in the architecture industry. The Architecture Center Amsterdam Challenged them to investigate the challenges, limitations and possibilities of six hotspots in Amsterdam.
What you will find in the exhibition
The exhibition offers a concise overview of the results, it presents a selection of sketches, photographs, and videos on drawing tables, so that the creative process is made tangible. The exhibition also stimulates the visitor to reflect on the city. How does it develop in the coming years, and what is possible when we look for solutions?
It is an interesting exposition for locals and tourists visiting the city as it gives a great overview of the architectural limits and challenges of the city. After visiting the exhibition you will look at the city of Amsterdam with a brand new set of eyes.
The ARCAM can be found on the Prins Hendrikkade on the way to the National Maritime Museum.
