
In honor of the International 100 hours of Astronomy event, Artis Royal Zoo will open the doors to their planetarium on the evening of 12 January for Star Watching at Artis. The dome of the planetarium gives an incredible view of the universe and its thousands of stars. Expect to be amazed during this night!

At 8:00 p.m., world-famous astronomer Prof. dr. Ewine van Dishoeck will do a talk about life in the universe. Next to all there is too see and do in the planetarium during Star Watching at Artis, all throughout the zoo telescopes will be set up by the Anton Pannekoek Institute for Astronomy. Volunteers will be able to answer all the questions you have about the sky above.
