The Birdhouse

At The Birdhouse you’ll find happiness in a bowl from early morning until late at night. Go there for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails after (or during) that. The chef created an International menu with all dishes fitted for plating in a bowl or on toast. Their urban jungle interior is inspired by the bird gardens of the neighboring Artis Royal Zoo and gives the restaurant a relaxing almost outdoorsy atmosphere.

Smoothie bowls and raspberry overnight oats for brunch. Or how about a Crab sandwich with avocado, grapefruit and garlic chips? At night the gnocchi bowl shares the menu with a Tenderloin streak from the Robata grill. For any seafood lover the Red Perch, pink beetroot, pecan, celeriac, with a sauce of verbena and buttermilk is a must try.  Leave some room for their Chocolate heart with red fruit if you can. This red (white) chocolate dessert is as delicious as it is pretty!
