The Butcher

The Butcher is located in the heart of Amsterdam’s most famous market the Albert Cuyp. This small burger bar is known to many locals as one of the best in town. Delicious burgers prepared on the spot, using fresh and tasty ingredients.

From the choice of meat to the selection of herbs, the freshest vegetables and magic signature sauces, right down to the homemade semi-brioche bun.This is a spot you’ll be happy to visit twice! A favorite is The Daddy: 230g prime Aberdeen Angus beef topped with melted Edam cheese, lettuce, tomato, bacon, BBQ sauce & grilled onion. They have enough vegeratian and fish options aswel, like the Codfather: Fresh blue cod beer battered served with tartare sauce.

The Butcher serves until after midnight, so you can enjoy a tasty lunch, a hearty dinner or a midnight snack.  Secret: what many don’t know is that the Butcher has a secret entrance to one of the cities most exclusive cocktail bars. Ask around, you might get lucky and find someone to get you in.
