The Lobby Nesplein

The Lobby Nesplein is an all day restaurant in the Amsterdam City Center. Open from early in the morning until after midnight, this is your spot to be for a good start of the day, fancy lunch meetings, cosy dinners and drinks after. Situated in a small street next to Dam Square, The Lobby offers a menu with delightful International dishes. The food, relaxed atmosphere and warm interior make this into a favorite amongst Amsterdam locals.

Brunch at The Lobby

On the extensive breakfast menu you’ll find all the favorites you can imagine. From fresh croissants, french toast and scrambled eggs with salmon to yoghurt, fruit & granola bowls. In for Chicken ‘n Waffles deluxe? Their waffle with duck confit, black pudding, poached egg and hollandaise sauce is delicious! The lunch menu starts at 11:00 a.m. and offers a few brunch dishes like eggs benedict and American pancakes as well as meat and seafood main courses. Our favorite: Flammkuchen served with bacon, onion, gruyère cheese and parsley.

When the evening falls, The Lobby Nesplein turns into an even cozier place with a fire place and candles all around. For their dinner dishes the chefs use refined ingredients to create exciting flavor combinations. The menu is less extensive than the breakfast and lunch ones but every dish on there is worth the try. Tip: the Redfish with fennel, crab bisque and saffron risotto is mouthwatering good. Have a cocktail or good glass of wine with that to make your dining experience complete. Reservations are advised, it’s quite a popular place!
