The Maker Market by Etsy

The Maker Market is one of the most exciting new markets in Amsterdam. During this monthly event you can pick up natural cosmetics, handcrafted leather items, furniture or some true delicacies. It is the place to be for creative locals or tourists that want to experience something different! Go by the market to pick up a one-of-a-kind gift or to enjoy a delicious delicacy made by one of the food stalls at the market.

The market is only for true “makers”, with that we mean people that actually make the wares themselves. It is a place where craftsmanship meets the consumer. This means that you will actually get a chance to meet the people behind your favorite product. Let them amaze you with their personal stories that motivated them to create their products or see them giving a live demonstration of their craft. The stalls at the market change every edition. With that the organization ensures a new and unique experience every time you visit the market! No worries though, people’s favorites always get the opportunity to return so you can enjoy new and old products.
