This summer pop-up café and restaurant – a very temporary establishment – sits on a small island northeast of Amsterdam’s city centre. Vuurtoreneiland’s Zomerrestaurant is once again open to diners and lunches for a limited period in 2015. Located inside a specially constructed greenhouse, the restaurant presents a locally-produced menu on the shores of one of Amsterdam’s most rugged, exotic and little-seen locales. Packages include boat travel to the island.
