Amsterdam Light Festival 2017: Existential

The organization of the Amsterdam Light Festival introduces a new theme every edition. This year they picked Existential, a theme that should encourage people to think about what unites people and how light plays a part in that.
The artist all have to keep this theme in mind when creating their art pieces. These artists and artworks are selected by a panel of judges. Artists from all over the word participate and submit ideas to the panel. In total 35 light art works from artists, designers and architects from all over the world are selected to illuminate the city.
