Mata Hari

The National Ballet has a show centered around the turbulent life of Dutch spy and dancer Mata Hary. Margaretha Geertruida Zelle, the real name of Mata Hari, is one of the most iconic women in Dutch history. As a famous dancer she travelled the world and she had high placed lovers everywhere, this made her the perfect spy during World War I.

Easily one of the biggest exhibitions of the year, this collection of masterpieces from the Hermitage in St Petersburg shines a light on the Dutch Masters.
