Amsterdam Wine Festival celebrates grape harvest
Wine lovers beware! During the weekend of March 23-26, the Gashouder on the Westergasfabriek grounds will once again be transformed into a Valhalla for wine lovers during a new edition of the Amsterdam Wine Festival. This edition, the festival will focus on the harvest of the southern hemisphere and take you on a culinary journey.
At the Amsterdam Wine Festival at the Gashouder, taste the finest wines from every wine region in the Southern Hemisphere. Drink undiscovered wines and classics, from unique cellar treasures to famous gems. There are more than 300 wines to taste by the glass. Available from €3 per glass.
Wine & Food
Several well-known restaurants and chefs provide accompanying dishes. Think; South African Braai, traditional asado from South America and mussels from New Zealand. Exquisite dishes with a good glass of wine in a company of wine lovers.
Wine and live entertainment
In addition to tasting, there is plenty to do during the three-day festival. Take part in the big wine quiz, attend master classes led by winemakers and enjoy spectacular dance performances, live bands and a DJ to end the evening on a high note.
Westergas
The Westergas grounds are the baker’s cradle of the Amsterdam Wine Festival. With the iconic Gashouder, the Transformatorhuis, the Leidinghuis and the Klönneplein, the festival covers more than 5,000 m2 of wine enjoyment on the Westergas grounds.
