1. Management

The Hello Amsterdam website and app is managed by Amsterdam Media B.V. (hereinafter Amsterdam Media). The contact details can be found on the website.

2. Visitor data

Some data arising from one or more visits to the app or website is stored permanently, but anonymously. The data can therefore never be traced back to a person or organization. Amsterdam Media ensures good security of the stored data. Amsterdam Media can use the data provided by the customer for the following purposes, among other things:

Sending one or more emails such as, but not limited to, an email containing login details;
Bringing (occasional) attention to a product, tip, skill, etc., which Amsterdam Media believes can contribute to a more successful website for the visitor;
Processing an order made;
Sending one or more e-mails relating to the ordered item, such as, but not limited to, an e-mail containing login details.

3. Providing data to third parties

Information provided by the customer to Amsterdam Media will never be passed on to third parties. However, there is an exception to this rule if a court order has been issued to provide data.

4. Adjustment of customer data

The customer has the option to change the data provided at any time. In such a case, Amsterdam Media may ask the customer to pass on the change in a manner prescribed by Amsterdam Media, and in some cases identification may be required.

5. Cookies

Amsterdam Media uses cookies to optimize the functionality of certain pages of the website and/or app. Cookies are small text files that are placed on the visitor’s computer by a page of the website. Such a cookie stores information such as certain preferences of the visitor. As a result, Amsterdam Media can serve the visitor even better on a subsequent visit.

The visitor can decide for himself how cookies should be handled. He can set his browser to allow, disallow or partially allow the use of cookies. In the latter case, you can set which websites are allowed to place cookies. It will then be banned on all other websites. This option is provided by the most common modern browsers. Cookies can always be removed from a computer, again via the browser.
