John Dory

John Dory is a new seafood restaurant of former Vis aan de Schelde-chef Arjan Wennekes. The restaurant is housed in a magnificent seventeenth century warehouse on Prinsengracht. The restaurant offers so called ‘fishtronomy’: tasty and above all affordable seafood (a three-course menu costs 35 euros). The restaurant is also open in the afternoon from 4 for a drink, a bite and a half dozen of the many delicious types of oysters on the menu.

So no exotic salmon or tuna, but things like mackerel or lobster that are caught close to home. Delicious and sustainable dishes made with super fresh fish, yum!
