Lion Noir

Mushrooms, stuffed birds, antique tapestries, skulls: in Lion Noir restaurant you will hardly be able to take it all in. The special interior, designed by owner Casper Reinders, was largely scraped together at markets in Antwerp and Paris. This resulted in a real freak show, where you will feel perfectly at home immediately. There is a lounge bar on the ground floor where you can also eat. On the first floor, there is a restaurant with French international cuisine. The tables are covered with white linen, except for the old school table that is covered in graffiti. There is also a lot to see here, such as colorful paintings, bird cages, the skeleton of a canoe and even ancient water tanks where the bottles of champagne are stored.

The beautiful garden of Lion Noir has been named one of the five best terraces in Amsterdam and one simply must visit when the sun is shining. Here you will find peace and quiet, even though the restaurant is on one of the busiest streets of Amsterdam.
